Harry Erlichman became my "adopted" Dad when I moved to Peoria, Illinois in 1974 to study biology at Bradley University. Harry was the owner of I. Erlichman and Sons recycling company where I worked for 5 years during my college days at Bradley. Harry and his brother Leonard bought recycled paper and metals and I worked on a recycling truck as well as in the metals yard. I cannot thank Harry and his wife Dee for all their love and kindness while I lived in Peoria more than 12oo miles from Utica, NY. They made sure I had a place to go during the holidays and made me feel welcome and loved everyday I lived in Peoria. It was time of great adventure for me.
